I once lived in a loft building, the floor plan was L-shaped. My floor was split with one other person and one of the consequences of the way we had divided the floor was that my neighbour’s bathroom window was at right angles to my living room; this meant there were occasions when I had to avert my eyes. But it did give me an idea for a painting.
