I remember as a child that it was always freezing on Christmas day, there was rarely a white Christmas but it was always bitterly cold, and when I left my grandmother’s house at the end of the evening there was always ice on the car windows. Later I had the good fortune to experience the warm Christmas of the Caribbean. At first it seemed strange, but warmth is something one gets accustomed to quickly. Today I live in New York and Christmas in New York is special, they make movies about it, but if it’s very cold, for just a moment I remember those hot Christmas nights in the Caribbean. Happy Holidays to all.
